How nice! 😀 As a kid I always wanted to have ducks at home, especially if we have a nice pond. But hmm ducks are not part of normal routine so I’ll just have to enjoy them in pictures instead! Cute!

I think I may have seen these little fellows yesterday at the “fishing area” a little down path from the admin building. There were 6 adults watching over 14 goslings as they nibbled a lunch by the bike path. VERY fluffy and cute. And yes, they had left many gifts for walkers to avoid. *sigh*

I was amazed how many goslings were around – and how big they were already. Did we actually have a spring?

awwwwww 🙂
Last week I ran into several families of geese and goslings. Too cute. One family had an amazing number of 10 goslings, although that number might be under. It was 10 in the water, but on land I have a picture that seems to have 12!

Funny how we have such a fascination with a mama and her babies. They always seem to make such great photos.

That maternal instinct still amazes me! Just TRY getting near her fluffy babies!

Wonderful photos. Too bad those geese are the types of ones that brought that plane down.

When I see the Canada Geese with their young I forgive them for making a mess of city parks.
