Happy Furry/Feathery Friday
I ended up finding the birds very active around my window feeder today and it was probably due to the St. Patrick’s snow storm hitting us. So, I decided to capture some wonderful up close videos of the birds interacting together. I am very excited to add these to the blog but I first want to figure out how to make them educational (so they should be posted soon)!! I began to review them on the computer and something wonderful happened (and I quickly grab my camera)!
Although this was a test with my cats self control; the real birds outside quickly refocused their attention elsewhere. Do note that I edited out the 5 minutes of Phoebe studying the screen and showed you the two cat’s breaking points. It was very cute to watch.

OMG Tom, that is tooooo cute!! I love it when cats do this! We humans are entertained by the cats who are being entertained by the birds who are just minding their own business. . . LOL!

Oh..My..Goodness. This is perhaps one of the best videos I’ve seen. I’m so glad you were able to move quickly and get them on video, Tom! Thank you! I saw one of your cats head tilt and they are so intent and smart, aren’t they? This reminds me of my cats being vigilant at the fish tank. Great show!

Cats are very vigilant until something else distracts them. Sometimes it’s their own paw or an imaginary friend. They are delightful to watch. Your two are beauties.

Tom – I had a cat that looks just like your white cat. Is s/he a turkish angora?

@ Robin – Phoebe wouldn’t turn her head until lazy decided to jump at the screen! That really distracted her like she was too good to watch it anymore! LOL
@ Barb – My mother got her at the SPCA! Long story behind her but we have not idea what kind of cat she is! Pain in my butt Cat (only kidding)!
