Annual Skiing Day
Today was our annual skiing/snowboarding day where many of the Young Naturalist, their parents and I got together for a fun day over at the Holimont Ski Resort in Ellicottville, NY. It was such a wonderful day and had some good laughs. After skiing/snowboarding we followed the tradition of eating pizza over at the Depot Restaurant. Hmm Pizza!

Temperatures quickly dropped and because it was ”SO COLD”, I failed to pull the camcorder out this year . . . . so here is the same 2:35 min video from last years adventure (it was a good one). Did I mention how fun this adventure was today?

How fun! I remember how much fun skiing used to be when I was much more…..hmmm…what’s the word. Young. I’m glad you had a great time.

Looks like perfect skiing weather. It was cold here, but the winds were light and the sun was strong. Winter at its best!

It was a great day and although the weather was cold, our hearts were warmed by the friendship, good times and food…sledding is next…

I’ve never went skiing before but I was thinking about doing cross-country skiing because it seems like a good way to sneak up on wildlife in the woods.
