Frustrated
Its Friday the 13th and my power at home isn’t working. Guess the thunderstorm fried something again!!!
I think I have let everyone know already but tomorrows CLDL banding has been canceled due to 80 percent chance of thunderstorms hitting in the morning. We have rescheduled the banding for Sunday morning instead. Call me or email me if anyone has any questions.
Since my power is out, I am testing my blackberry with my first BB post. Hope it works. . . . BTW that photo is from young naturalist j last month when he was camping in the park.

I see so many people with Blackberries. I’m wondering what in the world I’d do with one if I got one. I can see the potential, though, in breaking news, in weather reports, posting on blogs, etc.
It’s a real pain to lose power. Candles and Monopoly. I hope you get your power back on soon. As I type this, a big thunderstorm is coming in. I hope we don’t lose ours.

Thanks Linda and I am feeling still connected with my blackberry. Its expensive but at this point I am not sure if I could live without it!

EVERYONE: my power came back on late in the evening but not long after that my cellphone lost reception. As I am typing (should be banding) we are getting down poring rain.

Tom, is it possible for us to stop by the “CLDC” banding efforts now scheduled for Sunday 6/15? Teresa and I were going to do a hike at ASP, and wondered if this was permissible. We’d be very interested. Location of the banding station is what we’re after. Many thanks.

If I were you, Tom, I’d check in to the nearest hotel. But, it’s in the mid-90’s here – probably much cooler up there.

I thought I had a lucky Friday the 13th.
Passed my old work duties on to a gifted successor. Got my computer shut down just before the lightning struck the transformer.
Had supper with a good friend 😉
and spent the evening, after the storm passed, taking photos.
