  1. FYI: This photo was from last year so some of you might have seen this picture already! Also, caught 4 more Northern Saw-whet Owls last night!

OMG how did you get that picture???? Adorable.

I have been reading on our IN-bird list server that the Saw whets are being banded here in record numbers. Very interesting. I wonder what happened up north to cause the Finches and now Saw whets to come on down??

  4. Very cool! And, confirms what I’ve always suspected . . . you *are* an Owl Whisperer! πŸ™‚ Either that or a wizard! πŸ™‚

  7. @ Lisa – thanks and if you read below . . . . I am the owl whisperer!! LOL! Yes, this is an amazing year for sure! All related to the cone crops being very low!! Less seeds and the less mice/voles (including songbirds) are able to eat! No mice, no food for the owls! They all move south like this year! Very interesting for sure!
@ Erie – thanks and Happy Halloween to you also!
@ liz – thanks and I guess I am, well would be nice to be a wizard also!
@ Sherry – LOL, all fun for sure! πŸ™‚
@ savvyprchick – thanks for visiting and thanks for your kind words!
