Other big news . . . . I have been following a Box Turtle we found in Allegany that we believe is a wild turtle. We placed a transmitter on it and once a week I go out and gps its location along his hillside. It has been interesting!!!

  1. Congratulations! That’s a beautiful house. Looking forward to reading about it, and all the great birds and wildlife you’ll be seeing there.

  2. Congrats on the new home – looks nice, particularly if it’s good habitat for owls. Any resident barn owls in that barn?

I know what you mean about not blogging in a while. Between my real job, side jobs and stuff around the house, it’s nearly impossible to find the time. Now that you have, I’m going to have to follow suit, I guess.

  3. Well, guess I’m not the only who has been absent for quite a while. I just finally posted something a little while ago; and decided it was time to start reading some of my favorite blogs. 🙂 Congrats on the house, Tom. It should be fun to hear about your owl adventures and banding and seeing the photos you’ll take.
