Bridal Falls by Todd Plough
This weekend I have been helping (artist) Todd Plough with revising his personal web page and it is amazing how a specific objects are able to inspire people in different ways. When I was looking over his paintings jpg’s . . . . I found these two specific paintings that looked extremely familiar to me!! Sure enough they were of one of my favorite places to visit . . . . !

Bridal Falls is a secret place in Allegany State Park and although it isn’t located on the map . . . it is one of the first places that I almost always take people when visiting the park for the first time. Whichever season it is . . . . there is always something magical to find around the falls. Although photographing the falls is almost impossible . . . . you can expect to have bad lighting or there is always something in the way! What is great about doing a painting is that you can paint the location as you see it . . . . and these two pieces of work is exactly how I remember the falls!
Todd teaches private classes and is also known as uncle Todd by some of our Young Naturalist (from this site). So be sure to visit his American Impressionism website for more info on his workshops or purchasing some of his art work.
