Rainy Day
Even with the stormy day . . . . we still had a great day with the Catt. Co Bird Club Summer Picnic in the morning and the Kids Fishing Derby in the afternoon! I said that I would take many pictures but didn’t really have many opportunities with the bazillion things I was doing! I am off from work over the next two days and should have some great opportunities for capturing a few photos to post!! It has been a long day and off to bed!

Are you sure you are “off work” the next two days ;-)!
You have two jobs but one is more fun than the other. We had rain most of today too.

I love ice cream on a warm rainy day. 🙂

Who can resist some ice cream after looking at your pictures? I’m hoping to go to the Whippie Dip tomorrow. The kid’s fishing derby sounds extra fun. I love the look on a child’s face when they catch a fish.

Mmmm, that looks good! Have fun, Tom!

A nice alternative to a rainy day. Ice cream can make me forget most anything unpleasant.

Thank you…I am now headed to the nearest ice cream shop….!

@ Ruth – Off means I get to do fun things like banding! Without a doubt the banding part of my job is the fun one but don’t get paid for it!
@ Liza – Thanks and I also do!
@ Linda – Thanks and sounds like a great thing to get! I do also and even better when it is a big one!
@ Jayne – hmm
@ Pam – Thanks and I probably should have gotten one!
@ Lisa – thanks and I know exactly what you’re talking about!
@ Shelley – hope you had some good icecream!

Rainy hardly describes it! Sunshine–thunderstorm–rainbow–sunshine–more thunder. Rainy Allegany weather. Someone told me we were even on the weather channel!

Mmm … ice cream.
We’ve had threats of storms here, but nothing that has really panned out. I miss the incredible storms of my youth. There is something cool about having the power out and having to go ‘native’ – flashlights, candles and talking to one another. *Sigh*

It has rained here every single day this month and more thunderstorms then I can count!
Good Luck banding Tom!

@ Grace – Rainy Allegany is what everyone calls it!
@ Marty – wasn’t that bad but could have been!
@ Marg – it does seem that way at times! Lucky no rain today!
