Allegany Bloggers
On Saturday there will be a Blogger/Flickr get-together during the Allegany Nature Pilgrimage. Many of us local bloggers like Jen from a Passion for Nature, Toni from a Spattering, Linda from Erie Argonaut and maybe Nick from a Biological Rambling will be able to make it. If you are a blogger . . . flickr person and would like to join the get-together . . . . meet on Saturday at the tent at 5pm during the Chicken BBQ (If you don’t have a ticket for the BBQ, make sure you bring your dinner with you). We will probably have a group photo and chat about blogging, photography and just getting to know each other. Hope you can make it!

I am doing a program on nature journals and blogs for an elderhostel course so I would be interested in reading the group’s thoughts or recommendations from your meeting. But have fun anyway!

Unfortunately, I won’t be able to make it. Field work is dragging on much longer than I ever anticipated… I have been pulling 10+ hour days (14 hrs yesterday, in fact) in the field watching Rough-winged Swallows. This weekend is the critical period for my project, so I couldn’t blow it off to go herping. Hope you guys have fun! My amigos are already on their way to ANP, however. Maybe you’ll see them out there.

We’ll be there. Looking forward to the nature walks and learning about nature in the area. I don’t know if the 500+ photo storage on my camera will be enough for one day, ha.

That sound like a great way to spend some time! Also think the Canada geese picture is super nice with the front goose on spot focus and the back one out! Great shooting, Tom!
