Bullfrog Studio
Most everyone will remember the above photo from this springs (Tree Swallow Acting Cute) post that I did. Sherri from London Ontario also saw this post and contacted me about using the picture for a painting she was creating. I was so honored that I inspired someone . . . . I said “YES YES YES, PLEASE!!” A few weeks later I received an email with a photo stating that she had finished the painting. I was soo happy that I told her whenever she had a webpage developed . . . . to PLEASE let me know so that I could help her promote it! This weekend she surprised me with a huge package from Canada that had a beautiful print of that Tree Swallow Painting!
Dorky picture of me holding the beautiful Tree Swallow painting
I found a wonderful letter in the package from Sherri which also included a GORGEOUS original pencil sketch of a Ruby-throated Hummingbird. This hummingbird sketch was another inspired photo of mine (see below)! I showed my mother and she really loved both pieces of work (I think she was hinting around that this swallow painting would make a wonderful Christmas gift for her!! Hmmm)!

Please visit Sherri’s new webpage at www.bullfrogstudio.com to see these and many other beautiful paintings that she has done. Sherri, thanks again for your wonderful gifts and I am so thankful we have crossed paths! All of my blogging friends are soo kind to me! I love you all!

You are not dorky, Tom, but I giggled out loud at the photo – really, not at the photo, it was because of your comment!
I’d feel so honored if someone painted one of my photos. I remember Toni painting your barn swallows. See? You do inspire so many people.
Sherri did a marvelous job! Now I’m off to check out her work!
