Some hardy ones have crossed the lake already. I saw my first two yesterday as well (a week later than last year) Spring :-))

Pretty blackbird. They are so distinctive with the color in the wing.

they are truly the harbingers of spring. We had a few females this past weekend. Look out summer, here they come.

I’m awaiting their arrival! They’ve been reported in Massachusetts, so it won’t be long now!!!

Seen my first one the other day on the way to work. It sat atop a fence post along the highway. Put a smile on my face. I just love these birds and their distinct call.
