Cute flying squirrel. We have one who waits for us to put out the suet early every morning.

What great photos. I love that he captured all the color that is on a Yellow-bellied Sapsucker. I don’t often see Flying Squirrels so this is a treat.

That sapsucker is too handsome for words! (I’m assuming it’s a male since God seemed to bless male birds with more bright colors than females).
I’m so glad I have your feed on my sidebar. Makes it convenient for just “popping in” unannounced! :-}

I just got a picture of my first male YBSS and didn’t detect a hint of yellow on the belly. Glad to see this excellent picture.
