Temporary Tattoos
The official monarchbfly.com tattoo!
Temporary Tattoos are the coolest things in the world and a few weeks ago you’re never going to guess what crazy thing I did! I found this place that produces commercially made temp tats and I spontaneously ordered a thousand monarchbfly.com tattoos to be used as a fundraiser for the banding station (for new mist-nets!) The long wait is over and today they finally arrived in the mail! CHEERS . . . . . !
These temporary tattoos are 2 inches by 2 inches, waterproof and the high quality will last a long time! They are the most perfect item for anyone who loves butterflies! The first 10 people who comment on this blog post will get 2 free tats sent in the mail to you (so be prepared for my follow-up email asking for your mailing address)! If anyone is interested in ordering any. . . . they are a $1 per tattoo and you can contact me through my bio page.

Gosh Mon@rch, that’s a gorgeous tattoo! I already have 4 real butterfly tattoos, but none of them are as pretty as this one.

I love them! Ruthie has real tats. If I like the temp tat, maybe I’ll go all the way!

I’ll take a temporary tat too (pun intended). Very clever idea.

I definitely want some. I think I am going to ask Sparky’s science teacher at her school if I can buy them for the class, as well as sending a link to your blog…it is a great blog. A great cause. So let me get back to you with the number. Probably around 30 or so.

Very neat and a great idea as a fundraiser! The tattoo looks great on your arm (I’m assuming it’s your arm :-). What’s the name of the company who made these for you?

Who would have thought of this as a fund raiser?? You of course. What a novel idea. I certainly would never think of such a thing. I have always wanted a tatoo but when they told me there was pain involved I said no thank you. I am a weenie. Ha… Good luck with your cause, it is a good one.

Well, now, what fun is that??? And what a super idea! A virtual brainstorm. I think you’re a genius!!!

Tom: I want 5. Don’t know if my DC grandkids will be allowed, but those here sure will. Awesome!
3 March 2009 at 4:42 pm
Cool idea, Tom!! I’m emailing you!

Great idea! What place did you order them from? Are they online? The hospital gave all the staff temporary tattoos that said “you are appreciated”. I think we all would rather have had a raise. 🙂
3 March 2009 at 7:44 pm
What a fun idea! I hope it’s a successful fundraiser for a good cause…
3 March 2009 at 9:36 pm
Now that is a clever idea! I bet you won’t take a shower for a month 😉
3 March 2009 at 10:10 pm
