Daisy and Owls

Daisy
Ox-eye Daisy

and this isn’t climate change? This evening I almost stepped on this Daisy while checking my nets for Saw-whet Owls! Sure put a smile on my face once I found it . . . . I figured why not blog it and make everyone else smile! (so use your πŸ™‚ smile face in the comments)

BTW: Caught 3 more fluff balls tonight . . . even with the β€œbright” full moon!

  8. I love the daisy picture. I have most of my spring flowers blooming again in the garden which is the first time that happened this late for most of them. I love it…but it surely won’t last long. Thanks for giving us more to smile about!

  10. Ah, what a beauty. Do I dare say that the center brings to mind one of those crop circle patterns? πŸ™‚

The symbolic meaning of the daisy is innocence and purity, it can also represent love and marriage. I also found a couple of sites that indicated the meaning as, “share your feelings.”

Suh-weet symbol for the day πŸ™‚

  18. That is a really gorgeous shot. I know because I feel completely envious of it! I love it when the mundane is taken to a new level with a camera. It’s like hiking (to me) everything is so beautiful – it must be the fresh air clearing out the brain? (p.s. I think it deserved it’s own post too. beautiful.)

  25. Tom! I’ve missed so much. What a joy to peruse the pictures of those extraordinary night wanderers. I’m thrilled just to hear the lone little screech owl for the few moments he trills in our backyard.
