This weekend we had the second annual Allegany State Park Geobash! I am soooo tired but wanted to post a few photos from this wonderful Geocaching Event.
Thanks to everyone one of our Committee Members who did such a wonderful job in making this event as perfect as it was. I also would like to thank the many donors who donated such wonderful raffle items.

I am a naturalist, field biologist and nature photographer from the Western New York area. I have started exploring nature writing through this blog and it truly has been fun sharing my numerous adventures with everyone. Thanks to the many other authors that help me with my post and they will be sharing some of their nature explorations.
I have always had a latent interest in birds and photography and have been lucky enough to find time to explore these interests over the last few years. I am very thankful to the Cattaraugus County Bird Club for getting me started, sharing their wealth of knowledge and for their wonderful programs. And many thanks to Tom for letting me share some of my adventures and photos on the Monarch Nature Blog.

Sometimes I think I live on the moon. “Geobash” ?
Sounds and looks like fun. Hmmm. Maybe some festivities involving GPS devices.

Thanks for putting out the effort to post the nice photos-I guess having fun can be tiring too.-I know I get tired after birding some times.

@Mary – thanks and does take a great deal out of you!! Mowed my lawn this evening and need to figure out when to start working on my banding station, checking bluebird boxes, ect.. this is a very busy time of the year! You know me, love sharing!
