I am a naturalist, field biologist and nature photographer from the Western New York area. I have started exploring nature writing through this blog and it truly has been fun sharing my numerous adventures with everyone. Occasionally some Young Naturalists will help me with my post and they will be sharing some of their nature explorations as they too are becoming young writers, photographers and naturalist.

Speaking of monarch’s where have they all gone? At one time it was very common place to see those beautiful creatures everywhere now it is a true rarity to even see one in an entire summer?
