  3. So good to see them. They nested every year on our cottage in S. Ont. when I was a kid. We loved them. Thanks for the memories.

  4. It won’t be long.

We have a phoebe or two nesting on our porch every year, but I’ve never been able to get this good of a look at them. Thanks, Tom.

They hardly have room to perch in their little home. It won’t be long. Isn’t it funny that all young birds look pouty. I think it is those big mouths.

They’re looking very crowded in that nest!

  9. Nice photos–we have a few of these around but the only nest I have seen is in our barn–too high to see much.

  10. You have a phoebe nest photo, and so does Julie Z.
Having never seen a phoebe nest before, I can only say–what a mess of a nest. But such sweet birds.

  11. Wow – that is one crowded crib. I am sure they are going to try their wings this weekend. I don’t see Phoebes too often… they are adorable and you captured them very well.

    🙂

  12. I love baby birds! We just had our fourth dove hatch probably last night or today. Momma was feeding the tiny thing this evening.
