Charles Darwin’s 200th Birthday
Thursday (Feb 12, 2009) is Charles Darwin’s 200th birthday! Happy Birthday Chuck! I had to pull my dust covered copy out today and do a little celebrating! NPR has also been celebrating his birthday with many great discussions and stories!

Happy birthday, Chuck!
A forward thinker, Darwin. I wonder what innovation he would contribute to the world, were he still in it.

Amazing that two such illustrious men–Abe Lincoln and Chas Darwin–were born on the same day, same year.

The NYTimes Science section on Tuesday was all about Darwin. A couple of excellent pieces.
He was a true genius, and a brave man.

No mention of Darwin on CNN this morning–I will have to listen to NPR.

Kind of ironic that we were just talking about Darwin in Biology the other week, also, along with Darwin, today is President Lincoln’s 200th birthday!
