Several years ago I was given the privilege to care for a baby Woodchuck. His mother an siblings were killed in a bulldozer incident. He was the sole survivor. I named him Dozer. He came to me in such a weakened state I wasn’t sure if he would make it. Not only did he live, but he won our hearts. He was such an amazing and smart animal. We released him to the wild 3 months after we got him. Hopefully he is out there creating more wonderful little Chucks.
