Bird on a nest!
Photographed this bird sitting on its nest yesterday! I am not going to give away any clues but I will post my other pictures including the answer tomorrow evening!

American or Least Bittern.
I know they are difficult to spot.

A little birdie told me that it was a Least Bittern! Somebody is a great spotter!

I cannot enlarge the picture,even on Flickr. But I do not recognize the colour. I know it will not be an easy guess coming from you!

it’s a least bittern nest.. what a sharp eye you have!

Least Bittern—I confess I couldn’t tell which end I was looking at until I enlarged the image and was able to make out the bill… nice challenge
