Fledgling Northern Rough-winged Swallow

While walking around Allegany State Park (Red House Lake) yesterday, I found these two fledgling Northern Rough-winged Swallow being fed by mom. I knew the mother bird would return with more bugs and so I waited . . .

These guys are soo cute! Mom did a quick fly-by and the kids started yelling.  Mom circled and returned with her prized bugs! The picture below is the only decent picture that I captured with mom and she wasn’t too fond of the click, click, click of the camera.  Seconds later she call the babies away with only my memories of the last 10 minutes with her little baby birdies.
