LOL! Regarding the banded birds, http://winterwoman.wordpress.com/2007/08/21/a-little-bit-gross-but-interesting/ Jen from Passion for Nature found a banded bird while out hiking! But, rarely they are found! I also knew someone that would check a Screech Owl box near a banding station! He would find some in the pellets!
