		<description><![CDATA[I live on the Big Island of Hawaii, and the praying mantis is fairly common in gardens here, including ours.  I wonder if they are the same species as yours?  The ones here tend to be brownish, but with bright green wings.  I think the species name for the ones here is Tenodera aridifolia sinensis.

BTW we also have walking sticks here, but see them less frequently.]]></description>
